Therese Sanchez

Therese Adele Sanchez (58) of Albuquerque, NM went home to be with the Lord May 7, 2014. She was born in Belen, NM on Feb. 8, 1956 to Emery & Elidia Bezzeg. She married Fred Sanchez on Apr. 6, 1973. Therese’s most cherished moments were spent with her family. She and Fred celebrated 41 years of marriage. They had six children and sixteen grandchildren: Nathan and wife Angela, and sons Jacob and Matthew; Isaac and wife Marissa, and children Savanah, Deacon, and Brooklyn; Levi and wife Sasha, and daughters Noelle, Erynn, Hailey, and Danae; David and wife Carrie, and sons Caleb and Joshua; Daniel and wife Tami, and daughters Alexis and Shelby; and Leah and husband Kyle, and daughters Lilly, Addison, and Mackenzie. Therese enjoyed working at the Laundromat her husband built her. She collected pictures, bouncy balls, stuffed animals, movies, and George Strait CDs, to name a few things. She loved the Holidays, and you would know it if you visited her house! She wanted to spend as much time as she could with her grandchildren, whether it was baking, watching a movie, or playing outside. Therese loved the Lord with all her heart, soul, strength, and mind. She trusted him through even the hardest of times. Nothing made her more proud than to see her children and grandchildren follow the Lord. She cherished every milestone as her grandchildren grew. She narrowly missed her oldest grandchild’s graduation from high school this month. Her grandchildren brought her an unspeakable joy. Her heart broke for the seven unborn grandchildren we never got to meet here on earth, but, we know she is holding them now. She is preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her four older siblings, John, Gerard, Mary, and Gene, as well as her husband, children & their spouses, and grandchildren. In Lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Therese may be made at any Wells Fargo locations beginning May 12, 2014, under “Donations for Therese Sanchez NM.” A viewing will be held at Calvary of ABQ (4001 Osuna Road NE) on Thurs., May 15th at 10 am. The funeral will begin at 11 am, immediately followed by the burial, which will be located at Sunset Memorial Park. There will be a reception, back at Calvary, following the burial.
